Electronic Repair

Here is a CDX Cordovox I fixed up in 2023. It looks a lot like the White Elephant I fixed up the year before, however it's a lot different. Both were built by the same company in Italy back in the mid-1970s, and both have the groovy white case. This model doesn't have the built in Moog. It's a combo organ with a lot of cool accoutrements, including a built in phase shifter, wah-wah, and an effect called Astro-Sound!

Work done - Fixed a bad repair that caused all the G# to intermittently cut out. Replaced divider chip affecting the last 3 octaves of A#. Cleaned all the drawbar switches. Re-capped power supply, replaced an electrolytic capacitor on board that was killing most of the magical features, including the Wah-Wah, repeat, percussion, and Astro-Sound. Cleaned key contacts. Tuned all oscillators.
